Stop Being Lazy!

Why would you want to stop being lazy? Laziness has lots going for it! Indolence allows you to take life easy and to put off things which seem like a lot of effort. It can be fun to lie around, spend your time watching TV, surfing through cyberspace, playing games and otherwise filling your day with ‘chewing gum for the brain’. Isn’t there far too much pressure to ‘get on with things’, anyway?

Don’t be seduced by social pressure to do more

It’s true that the pressure to achieve more and get more done and generally be a ’successful’ person (whatever that is!) can feel intolerable at times, and rebelling against having to measure up to a social norm dictated by other people can be a good thing. But it’s also true that there are things that you do want to get on with, and make progress with, for your own very good reasons.

Can you stop being lazy?

And it’s when you see those projects languishing, when you find yourself feeling lethargic and drained when you haven’t even done anything, that you begin to feel disappointed and frustrated about the grip laziness has on you, and how it draws you away from what you know, in your heart of hearts, you really want to do. And that’s when you begin to wonder how to stop being lazy. And if you can.

The way out of the trap of laziness

To escape, you need two things. You need to understand what your ‘laziness‘ really is and stop telling yourself it’s something else. And you need a powerful method of reprogramming your brain to develop a model for ‘what to do right now’ which allows you to do what you really want to do - and to rest and take it easy appropriately along the way.

The truth is that laziness is a cheat. It’s a siren that promises you gratifications and rewards which it ultimately fails to deliver. Doing nothing looks very appealing, but in the end leaves you depressed and hollow. But overcoming laziness is not about condemning yourself to endless ‘busyness’ either. It’s about seeing through the false enticement and learning how to build a powerful inner commitment to yourself.

Using hypnosis to build a deep commitment to your personal goals

Stop being lazy is an audio hypnosis session which uses a compelling hypnotic process to clear your mind of the fog (or perhaps swamp would be a better word) engendered by laziness. As you relax deeply to carefully formulated hypnotic suggestions, you’ll find yourself easily developing a powerful new awareness of who, and what, you want to be in your deepest self.

From this basis, you will find yourself almost effortlessly developing a new vision and drive that will carry you through the projects you want to see succeed, even when the going gets tough. At the same time, you will subconsciously master the art of true relaxation, which is the balancing point between directed activity and restorative rest.

Breaking Up

Ending a relationship is never easy and the thought of ending your relationship may be making you feel anxious - perhaps even terrified. Ending a relationship in such a way that both you and your partner’s dignity are intact can seem like an impossible prospect.

It is human nature to procrastinate and dither over important decisions. But if you’ve really decided to end your relationship then the sooner you act the fairer it is for both of you.

The role of calmness in ending a relationship

To end a relationship well you need to be calm and clear of mind. The moment you become too emotional then your ‘thinking brain’ stops working properly. By remaining calm and relaxed you can be much fairer and say what you want to say.

When the time comes to deliver the news, you need to be in the right frame of mind. This means remaining calm and not being swayed by your partner’s arguments or emotional reaction. That is where the Ending a Relationship session is really going to help.

There are good ways and not so good ways of ending a relationship. After all, you want to be courteous and mindful of their feelings whatever your reasons for wishing to split. This hypnotic session will ‘train your brain’ to feel calm and controlled during that conversation.

Breaking up may never be easy but it will be a whole lot easier for both of you once you’ve downloaded and experienced Ending a Relationship. Get it now and start feeling much better about the prospect right away.

Heart Break from Unrequited Love

Unrequited love hurts. Being in love with someone who doesn’t feel the same for you is an agonising experience. Thoughts of the person often break into your mind even if you are trying not to think of them. You can feel hopeless and rejected.

You may believe that there is ‘a perfect partner’ for everyone and this person is your one and only. You may even feel that you want to forget about them but just can’t.

Those who experience unrequited love often feel at first that given enough time the object of their affections will come to feel the same way. Only as time progresses does it become clear that this is not going to happen.

But this doesn’t make the pain go away.

The solution to unrequited love is a new perspective

Just think for a moment how wonderful it’s going to feel when you no longer have to obsess about that person. How you’ll be able to choose whether to think about them or not and when you do you are able to feel calm and detached.

Real love should make you happy and contented not miserable and anxious. Unrequited love can never be anything but painful.

For there to be harmony in a relationship the force attraction needs to be balanced. Just imagine how good it’s going to be when you find someone who knows how to love you as you love them.

Download Escape Unrequited Love now and get your life back.

Can Hypnosis MP3’s Help You?

by Jon Mercer

The short answer is, yes, probably. Hypnosis has been used in psychotherapy for a long time and is proven very effective in changing behaviors and habits, and hypnosis mp3’s are just a way of using modern technology to make hypnosis more available.

Most people have an understanding of hypnosis to be a type of deep sleep or state of unconsciousness, where you are in a highly suggestible state and can be made to do almost anything. This is not an accurate description of hypnosis. According to the University of California San Diego, hypnosis is best described as a state of focused concentration in which a person is “more likely to accept suggestions”. A person can be hypnotized by a professional or trained to do self hypnosis from a book or from a hypnotherapist. In recent years, there is also a lot of good material available online, like hypnosis mp3’s. Also according to UCSD, hypnosis has been recognizes by the American Medical Association since 1958.

When under hypnosis, you are in a kind of trance that can make it more likely for you to accept suggestions. A hypnotherapist or a tape can not “fix” you, but it can help you help yourself. It seems that under hypnosis, people accept ideas more easily, and this can help them deal with their issues differently.

Contrary to popular belief, you can not be hypnotized against your will, and you can not be made to do something you don’t want when you are hypnotized. You are not unconscious when you are under hypnosis so you are still able to focus on external sensations and you are still aware of what is going on.

Some people prefer self-hypnosis or hypnosis mp3’s over working with another person because they are not comfortable with someone else controlling what suggestions are given to them. Self hypnosis usually includes learning to write a script for yourself and then recording it onto a tape to play back. Hypnosis mp3’s are usually ready made, and can cover almost any issue. In some cases you can also order hypnosis mp3’s custom made for your purposes.

Some of the most common issues that can be helped with hypnosis are pain, anxiety and depression, smoking and weight problems, but there are hypnosis mp3’s available online for hundreds of other topics. You can get hypnosis mp3’s to help with anything from tinnitus to picking at your zits.

Going to see a therapist specialized in hypnosis can be very expensive and is not always covered by your health insurance company. You usually need to come back several times and this can end up costing you thousands of dollars. You also need to start over with each new issue you want help with. In some areas you can also have difficulty finding a good therapist.

Buying hypnosis mp3’s online is much cheaper and easier than a therapist, and you can buy several mp3’s dealing with different needs at the same time. Using hypnosis mp3’s also allows you to deal with your problems without anyone else needing to know what you are dealing with.

Self Hypnosis Techniques for Easy Personal Change

by David Wells

The self hypnosis techniques are as unique as the individuals performing them. No one feels the same, enters the hypnotic state the same or benefits from the same scripting. Individuals must find a comfortable self hypnosis technique in order to obtain the maximum benefit of hypnosis.

One of the most important parts of hypnosis is the pre-planning and determination of the reasons for entering into hypnosis. Most individuals are well aware of their reasons for self hypnosis. A habit, fear, or pain management may be the underlying problem you are trying to solve.

The self hypnosis technique for some individuals may include a comfortable seat in the house. Imaging a peaceful scene with full visualization of the environment of the hypnotic state. For others it may be a seat in the garden with the sounds of nature assisting in the induction of the hypnotic state.

Everyone is different and they should experiment to find the method that works the best for them. You may need to try different places, relaxation techniques and even sitting arrangements, before you find the perfect method.

There are a variety of scripts that individuals can use with self hypnosis. If you are looking for change self hypnosis for a particular behavior you may want to use a replacement scripting.

For example, if over eating is what you are aiming to change, you can suggests under hypnosis that instead of craving chocolate you will crave a fruit or some other nutritious food. Now many would ask, Well why can’t you do that without hypnosis? The reason is because when awake we are not in a highly suggestive state.

When awake we are functioning mainly from the conscious mind. The problems and negative scripting are typically found in the unconscious mind. So under hypnosis we can change those scripts in the unconscious mind when we are in this highly suggestive state. If you are looking for higher self esteem you may want to suggest to yourself all the positive attributes you have. Change the negative self talk and scripting from negative to positive.

Subliminal self hypnosis is very effective and can help individuals with a variety of situations. Whether it is hypnosis for anxiety, fear or addiction it is a tool that can be used on a daily basis to curb cravings and mentally walk ourselves through daily life. If the issue is chronic pain, a person could use subliminal messages to guide them through easing the pain by escaping to another place.

Anyone can learn hypnosis it is not difficult and best of all you can learn for free. With the cost of living in today’s world, many find themselves living paycheck to paycheck with little left at the end.

This is another reason to turn to self hypnosis, there is no cost. You can perform hypnosis in your home without incurring any other expense. If you want music you can turn on the radio, or nature sounds can be achieve with hypnosis outdoors.

There are books, tapes and other enhancements that can assist you with the induction, but they are completely up to you. So if you need a change or find a way to relax then try out free self hypnosis, we will show you how. This is for self hypnosis, but there is training available to learn to hypnotize people.

In a quite room you will want to find a place to relax. Maybe on the couch, chair, bed or where ever you are most comfortable. Next you will want to determine what you want to achieve with hypnosis. Take a few deep breaths and begin focusing on one thing. This could be a spot on the wall, picture or something else that is an inanimate object.

After focusing on your object you will want to repeat to yourself that you are feeling sleepy and eye lids are becoming heavy. Allow for all the stress in your body to run down your arms and out through your finger tips. Tell yourself that you are relaxed from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

Once relaxed imagine a staircase and begin walking the staircase until you have reached the number ten stair. Counting as you go and telling yourself that as you walk the staircase you are going deeper and deeper into hypnosis. Once you have made it to the tenth stair you will then tell yourself that you are in hypnosis.

At this point you can explore your surroundings, how does it feel, hot or cold, wind, smell and other physical attributes of your environment. At this point you can then rehearse the positive scripting into your mind. Remember you are highly suggestible at this time so what you change your scripting to will be your new thoughts.

When you have completed your self hypnosis session you will begin up the stairs counting backwards from the tenth stair. As you climb the stairs tell yourself you are coming up from hypnosis and will awake with a feeling of wellness. Once you have made your way up the staircase then tell yourself to open your eyes and return to the normal awake state.

Self-Hypnosis For Habit Change

by David Wells

You know you shouldn’t. You made a decision that you weren’t going to do this anymore. You know it’s the right thing to do. You know that your life will be better for it. But, You do it anyway.

All the while you tell yourself that it’s okay because this is the last time. You’re only going to do it once more and then you’ll quit. After all, it’s always easier to quit tomorrow than it is today.

If you have a bad habit you know this scenario all too well. It seems like it ought to be easy. We all have free will right? Just stop. If only it were that easy.

You see, our habits aren’t really controlled by our conscious mind. The powerful and compelling emotions and cravings that drive us toward our bad behavior come from our subconscious mind.

What’s worse, your subconscious mind won’t listen to reason. It’ll ignore the most rational and persuasive argument you can muster. In fact, your subconscious mind isn’t even capable of rational thought. Instead, it is driven and consumed by emotions and feelings.

Therefore, your subconscious can only be persuaded by powerful images, desires and intense emotions. But it’s not enough to just visualize yourself free of your bad habits because your conscious mind acts like a filter. It prevents much of what you experience from entering your subconscious mind.

So you must not only create powerful emotional images to persuade your subconscious mind, you also have to get past your own consciousness with these images before they will have any effect on your subconscious mental scripts.

That’s why hypnosis has been proven to work so well for personal habit change. It can by-pass the filtering process of your conscious mind and allow you to deliver your emotionalized message right into your subconscious mind.

The results are sometimes very powerful. Imagine how much easier it would be to quit any bad habit you might have if you didn’t have those nagging cravings; if the compulsion to indulge your bad habit didn’t crash down on you from out of the blue with such irresistible force.

We’ve all been there. We wake up in the morning and tell ourselves that we’re going to be strong. Today we’re going to quit. Today will be different. And for a while it is.

Then it happens. You’ve gotten through half the day. You’ve even forgotten about your habit all together. Then, like a ton of bricks, it hits you; the sudden sinking realization that your resistance has failed. Your mind has already decided to indulge your habit.

You feel guilt and shame at your failure of will power but that’s not enough to overcome your compulsion. You rationalize it, telling yourself that one more time won’t hurt. You’ll quit after that.

Pretty quick you’ve told your self “just this one more time” every day for the last year. The whole thing is maddening and ridicules all at once. And the sad fact is, you are bound to continue in this kind of cycle until you re-write the subconscious mental scripts that are driving your destructive behavior.

Once that’s done you can hardly keep your bad habit alive, even if you want to. Once your subconscious mind has been convinced that you no longer have a particular habit you will no longer feel those terrible, nearly irresistible, cravings and urges for your habit. Then it’s just a matter of making good choices. And that’s easy when you aren’t a slave to those horrible feelings you get when you don’t indulge in your vice.

Self-hypnosis can be a powerful tool for helping you overcome almost any destructive habit or behavior. It’s gentle, safe, easy to learn and most anyone can do it. And best of all, once you’ve mastered self-hypnosis you will be able to apply it to any area of your life for easy personal improvement and change.

30 Seconds to Easy Self Hypnosis

by Paul E Brown

There are many ways in which to induce a tranquil, relaxed state of mind, in which the body is still, and the conscious mind is simply placed aside for a while as the subconscious mind assumes a more dominant role, and allows the therapeutic cognitive processes which are innate in all of us to become active.

This state of mind, known as the hypnotic state is very simply created by;
- Focusing one’s attention.
- Relaxing the body.
- Allowing unnecessary thoughts to enter, then exit, without any rationalisation.

This process can be easily accomplished by the technique that follows. It is known as the “Eye Roll Technique’, and is a very old but powerful way of entering a safe therapeutic hypnotic trance. When in this relaxed state of mind, it is possible to offer oneself any positive suggestions or affirmations in order to bring about the changes which you desire. Examples of positive statements and affirmations are given further on.

THE TECHNIQUE.
If possible, find yourself a quiet place and either sit down or lie down comfortably.
Roll up your eyes, just as if you were trying to look at your eyebrows.
Allow your eyelids to slowly close, and as you do so, take in a deep breath and hold it.

As you slowly exhale, allow your upturned eyes to return to their normal position.

As you finish exhaling, enjoy that gentle, floating sensation that you will experience.
At the same time, imagine your right hand to be very light, like it has a childs helium balloon tied to it making it rise gently. You may be surprised at the ease by which your hand and arm seem to float up by themselves.
This floating hand signal is a signal from your subconscious mind that you are entering a state of deep relaxation.

As you remain in this deeply relaxed, hypnotic state of mind, offer yourself any positive, therapeutic suggestions which you feel will help to bring about the changes you really want or need.
Remain in this state for 10-20 minutes, that’s really all that’s needed.

You can repeat the process as many times a day as you like.

EXITING THE TRANCE STATE.
Roll up your eyes behind your closed eyelids.
Very slowly, allow your eyelids to open, and the eyes to focus.
Make a tight fist with your right hand, and as you do, allow this light floating hand to drift down into a comfortable position. As it comes to rest, release the tight fist and gently stretch those fingers.……FINISHED !!!!

If necessary, the exit from the trance state can be accomplished any time by going through the steps listed above.

It may take you a little time to perfect the technique, especially if you are the ‘on the go all the time’ sort of person. Relaxation comes easier to some people than to others, so always bear this in mind.

Remember, if you want to make positive changes in your life, this relatively short use of your time can pay great dividends in the end. The beauty of it is that once you have practiced and mastered the technique, you will be able to enter the relaxed state much more easily and deeply.

Another point to remember is that everyone is capable of entering into a hypnotic state.
But just as we are all different, so is the ease with which we enter into a hypnotic trance.
Some will succeed on their first or second attempt, where as others may need many more attempts. It took me a week and a half, and about 15 attempts before I achieved a hypnotic state. The motto is—PERSERVERE. It may take time, but the rewards are well worth the effort.

Speed Dating for Women

Oh my gosh!  We just love this hypnosis download.  It is so true to life and very current.

Our friend Melissa is a 31 year old child care worker.  She’s pretty, caring and has a sweet personality, but due to her career, does not readily meet men.  We suggested speed dating (okay, truth be told, one of us is a speed dating junkie!), and Melissa took our advice and tried it but found the experience all rather scary and not enjoyable.   She complained that she did not know what to say and felt very pressured in the few minutes she had to speak to each potential beau.

Fortunately, we checked the list of fabulous self hypnosis downloads from our friends at Hypnosis Downloads and sure enough, we found a brand new download that was just perfect for our friend.  She was sceptical at first but was open to suggestions.  After a few short weeks, we got a phone call and Melissa had started dating!  We were over the moon for her.  She told us that she listened to Speed Dating Confidence for Women a few times and then signed up for another speed dating session.  And voila!  She met Brad - a vibrant and confident young sales executive.  They compliment each other well.

Now, if you are a man reading this, you have not been forgotten!  There is a download available specifically for you - Speed Dating Confidence for Men.  We have not tried that one but if the women’s version is anything to go by, then I think you may well be on to a winner!  Let us know what you think.

Melissa is now waxing lyrical about Hypnosis Downloads and has started downloading more titles in their fantastic range.

5 Hypnosis Myths Exploded

OVER the years, hypnosis has picked up all sorts of weird associations from stage hypnotists, the media and superstition. This is a great shame, because in reality, hypnosis is your single most effective tool for change. Hypnosis is your birthright, and you should know how to use it so it doesn’t use you. Here we dispel the biggest hypnosis myths.

Hypnosis Myth 1) All hypnosis is the same

As with anything, hypnosis can be good, bad or indifferent. The most common is old-style authoritarian hypnosis of the type “You are getting sleepy, you are feeling confident”. Unsurprisingly, this sort of hypnosis doesn’t work well with many people. Good hypnosis uses subtle psychological principles and advanced communication patterns.

It’s like the difference between a football coach who thinks you’ll perform best if he yells at you, compared with the more elegant style of a great leader who knows that to get the best from his people, he needs to understand motivation, to cajole, encourage and reward.

Hypnosis Downloads.com offers hundreds of sessions using the best type of hypnosis.

Hypnosis Myth 2) Subliminals work

Subliminals are words that you can’t hear. Common sense says they shouldn’t work, and there’s no research proving that they do.

Hypnosis Myth 3) Some people can’t be hypnotized

The only reason you can’t be hypnotized is if you are incapable of paying attention due to extremely low IQ or brain damage. That’s not to say that every hypnotist can hypnotize you however. The more flexible the hypnotist, the more effective she will be with the largest number of people.

Hypnosis Myth 4) Hypnosis is something weird that other people do to you

If you couldn’t go into hypnosis, you wouldn’t be able to sleep, to learn, or get nervous through ‘negative self hypnosis’. (You know when you imagine things going wrong and it makes you feel anxious? Well that’s self hypnosis!)

Hypnosis is simply a deliberate utilization of the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) or dream state. We’re not giving people medication here – if it wasn’t a natural ability, hypnosis wouldn’t work!

Hypnosis Myth 5) You lose control in hypnosis

Crazy news stories, stage hypnotists and gossip have created the illusion that you lose control in hypnosis. In fact, when hypnotized, you are relaxed and focused – and able to choose to get up and walk away at any time. You choose to give your attention to the hypnotist, and you can withdraw it at any time.

If you have been scared of hypnosis in the past, this article has hopefully convinced you to at least give it a try. But remember, ensure what you’re getting is the real thing. Visit www.hypnosisdownloads.com
